How to clean Silver 925
Note: this method applies to solid silver pieces that feature no stones
you'll need:
aluminum foil
baking soda
warm water
small bowl
* don't use a metal spoon; it'll cause a reaction
step 1:
cover the bowl with aluminum foil
step 2:
lay the silver jewelry in the bowl and cover them with a baking soda
step 3:
pour the hot water over them and wait 5'
step 4:
remove them with a wooden utensil or by hand.
Rinse the jewelry under lukewarm running water and wipe them dry with a soft cloth

How to clean Gold Vermeil
what is gold vermeil ?Note: this method applies to gold vermeil pieces that feature no stones
you'll need:
mild dish soap
microfiber cloth
soft toothbrush
lukewarm water
small bowl
step 1:
add the water and a couple of drops of dish soap in the bowl and stir
step 2:
add the goldplated jewelry and let them soak for 5'. If needed, brush with a soft toothbrush to remove the excess oils from difficult places
step 3:
rinse them under running water and pat the jewelry dry with a soft cloth

Knotted necklaces need extra love because it's not that simple to clean since they can't get wet.
The thread going through the beads can (and will) stretch over time, so avoiding water is important to stay in shape longer.

Cleaning
Pearls should never be cleaned in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner. It’s safe to use warm, soapy water for occasional, thorough cleaning. If the pearls are strung, be sure the string is completely dry before wearing.
For routine care, it’s best to wipe cultured pearls with a very soft, clean cloth after each wearing.

How to clean Solid Gold
Soaking is the key: you should soak your gold jewelry pieces for 3 hours and then scrub them gently with a very soft brush. Rinse under clean water and blot dry with a cloth.
Bonus tip: for an extra shine, use a jewelry polishing cloth after this! Do not use a paper towel or tissue as these can scratch your jewelry.
Clean with soap as needed: by all means, clean your jewelry at home but, don’t overdo it! Only clean your jewelry as needed when it’s visibly dirty or gathering a patina.
How to store your Gold jewelry
1.Use a jewelry box clean, dry, fabric-lined jewelry box is the best option.
2. Wrap each piece in a soft cloth. If you don’t have a jewelry box, save those free phone screen clothes and use the extras to wrap each piece of your jewelry individually.
3. Store pieces separately. This prevents jewelry from tangling or scratching each other.

Scrub them using a soft brush, preferably a baby brush with soft bristles. Avoid scrubbing too hard else you may end up scratching the stone. Rinse the stone and dry it gently with the help of a soft, lint-free cloth.
Avoid exposing your jewellery to perfumes, lotions and cleaning products, as these substances can damage soft-organic gemstones like pearls.Clean coloured stone jewellery gently with a lint-free cloth or soft-bristle toothbrush, along with a solution of warm soapy water.
